Middle School
Itinerary
Today we safely arrived in Paris after a long plane ride. Our top movie watchers were Sarah and Ned at five full length movies. After checking into our cute hotel we ate lunch at a small nearby cafe. Next, we took the metro to the louvre. We enjoyed seeing seeing the Mona Lisa and many other great works of art. We ate a delicious dinner and dessert at a French brasserie. It was a fun and long two days, we will all sleep well.

The catacombs of Paris was worth the 2 hour wait. It was amazing to see the care and respect to the many nameless dead.
We visited Notre Dame on Friday.

ReplyDeleteThe Catacombs must have been pretty intense. I wonder what the places you walk through now looked like when those people were alive. Perhaps Notre Dam was new when some where alive, and their bones were being transferred to the Catacombs during its restoration after the French Revolution.
